Adolescent Data (EO1-EO5) Conclusion:
- Chronic
stimulation of the left vagal nerve in children with pharmacoresistant
epilepsy is associated with a reduction in seizure frequency,
similar to what has been reported in adults.
- Adverse
events do not appear unusual following this surgical intervention.
The observed adverse advents did not necessitate cessation of
stimulation.
