Movement/Spasticity Management

Movement Disorder/ Spasticity Management Laboratory provides diagnosis and treatment for patients with spasticity and other abnormalities of muscle movement. Our laboratory provides diagnostic and therapeutic expertise for a variety of conditions such as Parkinson's disease, Tourette's syndrome, Huntington's disease, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries and other disorders of the nervous system. Specialized therapeutic programs include the treatment of dystonia and spasticity with botulinum toxin (Botox/Myobloc) injections, the management of severe spasticity with the Intrathecal Baclofen pump (ITB), and the management of Parkinson's disease and tremors with Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS).
