Dr. Moreta graduated from Harvard Medical School (1977). Postgraduate training included medical internship and neurology residence at Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital and North Shore University Hospital, where he was the Chief Resident. He is a former Instructor in neurology at Cornell Medical College, and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology. Dr. Moreta is a former member of the medical board at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. Dr. Moreta is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in the specialty of Neurology. Dr. Gudesblatt graduated from Johns Hopkins University (1976) and from Cornell University Medical College (1980). He is a member of the: Advisory Board of the Epilepsy Foundation, a co-Medical Director of the Suffolk County American Parkinson's Disease Association's chapter support group at Good Samaritan Hospital and the Huntington's Disease Suffolk County Chapter support group, and has served on the advisory boards of: The Thomas Hartman Foundation for Research in Parkinson's Disease, Suffolk County American Parkinson's Disease (APDA) Chapter, and the Hope For A Cure Foundation, and the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. Dr. Gudesblatt has authored articles appearing in professional literature on numerous topics, including movement disorders, tumors of the brain and spinal cord, neurologic complications of pregnancy, stroke, familial inheritance of neurologic illness and multiple sclerosis.
Dr. Gudesblatt joined the practice in 1985.
Dr. Rosen graduated from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (1985). Postgraduate training included medical internship at the University of Maryland and neurology residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Rosen has subspecialty expertise in neurotology and is the neurotology consultant for the Balance Therapeutics Laboratory at South Shore Neurologic Associates, P.C. He is also the Medical Director of the Stroke Service at North Shore/LIJ -Southside Hospital. He received his M.B.A. in Healthcare Administration from Regis University in 2005. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in the specialty of Neurology, and also by the American Society of Neurorehabilitation. Dr. Rosen has authored articles appearing in professional literature on a variety of neurologic topics, including infection, dementia, seizure, vascular disease and neuro-otology. Dr. Rosen joined the practice in 1989.
Dr. Besser graduated from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine (1985), Postgraduate training included medical internship at Brookdale Hospital, neurology residency at State University of New York – Downstate and a fellowship in neuromuscular neurology and electromyography at the University of Vermont School of Medicine.
