Anne M. Dunne, RN, MBA, MSCN
Ms. Dunne is the Administrator of South Shore Neurologic
Associates, PC. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
from the College of New Rochelle (1984) and her Masters of Business Administration
degree from Dowling College (1990). She is a former Critical Care and
Assistant Head Nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. Ms. Dunne
is a member of the Clinical Advisory Committee for the Long Island Chapter
of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and a member of the Board of
Governors for Our Lady of Consolation Nursing and Rehabilitation Care
Center. She is certified in case management (CCM) and is a Multiple Sclerosis
Certified Nurse (MSCN). She is responsible for the operation of our practice
sites and subspecialty units, the coordination of professional activity,
and the supervision of the support staff, nursing and case management
services. Ms. Dunne joined the practice in 1987.
Barbara Bumstead, MS, ANP-C, MSCN
Ms. Bumstead is an Associate in Nursing Services. She
is a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. She received her diploma in Nursing
from John Abbott College (1979), Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
(1997) and Master of Science degree in Adult Health Nursing from State
University of New York Stony Brook (1999). Ms. Bumstead has extensive
hospital experience as a Staff and Teaching/Research Nurse on neurology
and neuro-surgery units. She is a former Nurse Manager of the Neurology
Unit at University Hospital at Stony Brook, responsible for the supervision
and daily operation of a thirty bed unit. She is a Multiple Sclerosis
Certified Nurse (MSCN). Ms. Bumstead joined the practice in 2001.
Patricia Grant, MS, ANP-C
Ms. Grant is an Associate in Nursing Services. She is
a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. She received her Associate in Applied
Science degree in Nursing from Suffolk Community College (1982), a Bachelor
of Science degree in Nursing from Molloy College (1998) and a Master of
Science degree in Adult Health Nursing from State University of New York
- Stony Brook (2002). Ms. Grant is a former Critical Care and Emergency
Room Nurse at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center and Long Island
Jewish Medical Center. Ms. Grant joined the practice in 2002.
Latidra Heyward, RN, BSN, MSCN
Ms. Heyward is an Associate in Nursing Services. She
received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Molloy College
(1994). Ms. Heyward is a former Medical and Surgical Staff Nurse at Good
Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. She has an extensive background in
the home care setting as an IV Specialist and Patient Care Supervisor.
She has experience in all aspects of infusion therapy, including chemotherapy.
She is responsible for the administration of intravenous infusions, the
coordination of nursing/home care services and patient education. Ms.
Heyward is certified in Basic Life Support, PICC line insertion and Intravenous
Administration. She is a Multiple Sclerosis Certified Nurse (MSCN). Ms. Heyward joined the practice in 2002.
Lourdes Cruz, RN
Ms. Cruz is an
Associate in Nursing Services. She received her Associate of Service in
Primary Care Nursing from Farmingdale State University (1998). Ms. Cruz is
a former general duty nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. She
has an extensive background in the home care setting as a High
Tech/Infusion Nurse. She is responsible for the administration of
intravenous infusions, the coordination or nursing/home care services and
patient education. Ms. Cruz joined the practice in 2003.
Matthew Mattone, ANP-C
Matthew Mattone is
an Associate in Nursing Services. He is a certified Adult Nurse
Practitioner. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from
Adelphi University (1981) and Master of Science in Adult Health Nursing
from State University of New York - Stony Brook (1996). Mr. Mattone has
extensive hospital experience as a Staff Nurse and Teaching and Research
Nurse in the Emergency Department. Mr. Mattone joined the practice in
2005.
Clifford Miller, MS, FNP-CS
Clifford Miller is
an Associate in Nursing Services. He is a certified Family Nurse
Practitioner. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from
College Misericordia (1980) and Master of Science in Family Health Nursing
from University of South Florida (1998). Mr. Miller has extensive hospital
experience as a Staff Nurse and Nurse Educator in Neonatal Intensive
Card. Mr. Miller joined the practice in 2004.
