Frequently Asked Questions
What should I do to prepare for my infusion appointment?
The most important thing one can do prior to receiving any type of IV treatment is to be adequately hydrated, so drink plenty of fluids the day before and the day of your treatment. This will make placing an IV in your vein much easier.
How long will my infusion take?
Infusions in our suites can take anywhere between 30 minutes to 5 hours. It depends on the treatment and the dosage you are prescribed. No matter how long you are here with us, we attempt to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
What kind of reactions can I expect from this medication?
This varies from therapy to therapy, and sometimes even patient to patient. If you are concerned about possible side effects, consult with your referring physician.
